On Wednesday evening, the Sportpoint store once again became the starting point for one of the most exciting running community events – City Chase #6. Now in its sixth year, the event brought together a record number of teams and once again proved just how strong and energetic the Vilnius running community is.
The City Chase format remains unique – it’s not just about running, but also about strategy. Teams had one hour to collect as many points as possible by choosing checkpoints of varying distance and value across the city. Some teams opted for speed and closer points, while others took risks chasing higher-value locations further away.
Everything starts with strategy – 15 minutes of planning, where every decision can impact the final result. And then it begins: the start, the city, the pace, and constant improvisation. In this event, it’s not only the fastest who win, but also the smartest.
This time, there was no shortage of speed, creativity, and good vibes – from the first strategic discussions in-store to the final minutes before the finish. Teams returned tired but smiling, clearly having experienced that unique City Chase feeling.
